Kyocera recognizes that the purchase price of a printer represents just one aspect of your total cost of ownership. With cartridge-based page printers, consumable costs can easily exceed more than three times the original purchase price during the life of the product. Our toner costs are generally substantially less than that of competing brands. Using competitive price information based on data from NPD Group, Inc, our TCO Tracker provides a comparison of running costs associated with printing.

The competitor price information is based upon data provided by NPD Group, Inc. as of the date reflected. Kyocera price information is manufacturer's suggested retail price. Actual prices may vary. The coordinates of the TCO graphs are determined by calculating the cost of equipment, supplies and maintenance over the period of time provided by the user, and based upon routine maintenance and published yields -- this does not include service costs. Recommended comparable printers are similar size printers having comparable prints-per-minute, paper size, memory and rated print volume. Color coverage assumes the selected percentage is used for each of black, yellow, cyan and magenta toners. Monochrome coverage assumes the selected percentage is used for black toner only. Price and yield of manufacturer's published highest yield cartridges are used. Remanufactured or refilled cartridges, and third party supplies have not been considered for comparison purposes. The graphs are to assist customers in comparing costs of products, but are not product representations or warranties. Kyocera believes that the information provided is accurate; however, it is not responsible for any errors, inaccuracies, or variances because of changes in prices, yields or specifications.
